I picked up my first camera at 14 years old and was instantly drawn to the art of photography. I was mainly drawn to fine art nature and portrait photography, and I developed a very vibrant, bold and surreal look that was inspired by my colourful, Guatemalan heritage.
However, I didn’t pursue photography as a full time career, it was mainly a hobby & a creative self-expression. Photography was my source of peace, an intimate journey and a oneness with nature.
In 2020 I moved to The Yukon Canada, I was surrounded by nature, and this began an inner-healing journey. In this season I also learned to accept myself as an artist, a conscious creator who longed to express from the inside out. I was soon recognized as a Northern photographer and had the pleasure of working with brands like Google Canada & NatGeo North.
& Now… begins my next chapter, a continuation of my creative journey. This time I will be in Guatemala, working and creating along side my people – the beautiful Guatemalan Artisans. My soul’s desire is that my photography and story would inspire your own creativity, your own passions and perhaps your own healing too.
